Will Taylor Swift Be at the Final Chiefs Game of the Preseason to Support Travis Kelce?
As the clock ticks down to kickoff on the last Chiefs game of the preseason, where the Kansas City team will take on the Chicago Bears, fans are probably wondering if Taylor Swift will make her NFL debut for this go around to support her beau, Travis Kelce.
The two teams will face off at Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday, Aug. 22, for the Chiefs' third and final game before the 2024-2025 season officially commences, and, because of her busy touring schedule abroad, Swift has been unable to make it thus far.
With the European leg of the Eras Tour officially in the books as of Tuesday, Aug. 20, and nearly three months to go before the superstar kicks off the final leg of her record-breaking tour in North America in November, her schedule is seemingly wide open for her to fly home from the UK and arrive in Kansas City before the start of the game.
However, according to ESPN NFL Nation reporter Adam Teicher, who covers the Kansas City Chiefs, head coach Andy Reid said earlier this week that starters wouldn't be playing in Thursday's game, meaning that Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, Rashee Rice, Isiah Pacheco, Harrison Butker, and several other players are unlikely to take to the field.
With Kelce likely sticking to the sidelines on Thursday, Swift may save her highly-anticipated arrival for the Sept. 5 home game against the Baltimore Ravens.
In the meantime, fans can get a taste of what's to come this season with a recently resurfaced edit that left fans "wheezing" as Swift donned a KC-branded cheerleading 'fit in the "Shake it Off" music video before throwing it over to "the fella over there with the hella good hair"—aka Kelce.
