Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn Go on Hiking Date Amid Buzz Singer Is Releasing New Music Soon

After spending a stretch of time across the pond, Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn are back in L.A. and enjoying some sunshine.

Over the weekend, the Grammy winner, 29, and her Favourite actor beau, 28, held hands as they hiked on a trail in the Santa Monica Mountains which are located in Los Angeles.

Both wore baseball caps for the outing and looked casual in T-shirts and shorts.

Swift wore a loose-fit cropped butter yellow T-shirt with high-waisted denim shorts and also rocked a Gucci fanny pack.

Alwyn meanwhile, appeared to be ready to capture some candid romantic shots as he had a camera slung around his neck.

Swift skipped the Oscars telecast last month where Alwyn’s film was nominated for multiple awards but joined him afterwards for a few parties. The superstar shared a romantic photo of herself on Oscars night posing on a spiral staircase in a sparkly cocktail dress.

During the Grammys (where the singer was nominated for best pop album), Swift attended the BAFTA Awards after party in London where she and Alwyn — who have been dating for more than two years — were spotted getting affectionate, according to The Sun.

The couple’s glamorous night out came amid a busy couple of weeks for Swift, who flew to London to shoot the upcoming movie adaptation of the hit musical Cats.

“She still wants to keep her relationship quiet, and so far it’s been working. She loves dating Joe,” a source previously told PEOPLE. “It’s a great relationship that everyone hopes will last.”

Over the last several weeks, Swifties have been running wild with theories that Swift is gearing up to release new music. “She just read all the theories,” joked the singer Feb. 27 on Instagram, posting a photo of her beloved cat Olivia making a shocked face.
