Taylor Swift Mural in London Leaves Fans Divided Ahead of City’s Final Eras Tour Shows
A new Taylor Swift tribute has popped up in London, but fans aren't sure how to feel about it.
Ahead of the singer's final stop on the European leg of her Eras Tour, a giant mural was created in her honor, covering a cement wall on the streets of London with a larger-than-life depiction of the "Cruel Summer" songstress.
Fans online had mixed reactions after seeing photos of the mural, which shows Swift, 34, in red and blue paint with a touch of white shading—an apparent representation of the three colors in the flag of England.
"WAIT THATS SO COOL," one fan on X (formerly Twitter) wrote under the now-viral pic.
"oh my god this is stunning," another person gushed.

"she owns london periodt" someone else chimed in, while others dubbed her the "queen" of England—(Sorry, King Charles!)
But other fans took issue with the mural, claiming that it looked nothing like Swift.
"I mean...it's something," one user tweeted in an attempt to keep it polite.
"That's not Taylor Swift," another person wrote, while another person quipped, "baby what is this."
Someone else wanted to know, "WHY DO THEY NEVER MAKE HER LOOK LIKE SHE LOOKS LIKE...??"
And it's true that artist have had trouble capturing Swift's likeness recently, after a wax figure of the music superstar released in Germany earlier this week already garnered backlash from fans over how much it missed the mark.

"they did her dirty w this," one critic wrote on X, while another called Swift's wax figure "SO botched."
Fortunately for fans with tickets to her show, Swifties will be able to see the real Swift in concert this week as she returns to London for the city's final five Eras Tour dates.
After already playing three shows at Wembley Stadium back in June, Swift will be kicking off the first of the five additional at Wembley Stadium on Thursday, Aug. 15, followed by her final show on Tuesday, Aug. 20, which will wrap up the European leg of the tour.
