Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s Alleged Date After Chiefs Game Is Getting a Mixed Reaction From Fans
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s post-game date has left fans feelings somewhat conflicted and some are even criticizing the new couple. Swift and Kelce, both 33, have been romantically linked since July and appeared to take things to the next level this past weekend after the “Anti-Hero” singer cheered on Kansas City Chiefs tight end during the Chiefs’ game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday.
Swift watched the game from a luxury box suite beside Kelce’s mother, Donna, and was caught on video leaving the stadium with Kelce, who was wearing an outfit that fans believe is a subtle nod to his new love interest. In photos shared by TMZ, the duo left the stadium in a convertible.

However, it is what Swift and Kelce allegedly did after the game that has some fans up in arms. In a now-deleted video that was posted on TikTok, a user named Molly (@1989vinyl) claimed that the singer cleared out a whole restaurant by paying for everyone’s meal in exchange for their immediate departure.
“I’ve just got a call from a friend and Taylor is going to a place and she just paid for everyone in the restaurant so that they would leave,” Molly said.

“They were eating and the waitress came up and said, ‘Here’s the deal, everything is paid for but you have to have to leave, like right now.’ How freaking insane is this! Oh and of course, she’s with Travis Kelce.”
In the comments, some users criticized the lavish display, noting that diners deserved to enjoy their meal and not be required to leave the restaurant.
“Unpopular vote but no, I’m staying…I’m not leaving [because] u throw a few dollars at me,” agreed one user wrote in the comments. “While I love this for her, I’d be so annoyed if I was being [pressured] to leave just [because] someone wanted Privacy. like go home,” wrote another.
A slightly different version of the post-game date appeared in a witness account to BroBible.
“We were there for my friend’s 22nd birthday, and they told us they had a ‘hard close’ at 8 pm, handed us to-go boxes and told us politely that we had to leave,” a woman who says she was eating at the upscale Kansas City restaurant told the outlet. “I asked if it was for Taylor and they said all smiley ‘we can’t confirm or deny’ but then kept making jokes and said they’d tell her we said hi.”
The woman claimed customers were allowed to finish their meals downstairs in the restaurant’s sister location. “Some of her security guards sat behind us,” the witness continued. “We tried going up the stairs [because] they shut down the elevators to see if we could get in but we couldn’t haha. So crazy.”
In July, Kelce revealed on his podcast New Heights — that he co-hosts with his brother Jason — that he was trying to get the singer’s number. “If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets, and I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it,” he said.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings.” However, it’s clear Kelce got his message to her one way or another!
