July 8, 2023: Taylor Swift performs in Kansas City, Kansas

Fresh off the release of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), Swift performed at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Kansas. Kelce was in attendance in his private box, but the two never spoke. 

July 26, 2023: Travis Kelce reveals he tried to meet Taylor, but failed 

A few weeks after the concert, the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end took to his and his brother Jason’s podcast New Heights to reveal that at the concert, he tried to give Swift a bracelet with his phone number on it. 

"If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets, and I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it," Kelce said in the clip. "I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows, because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings.” 

September 21, 2023: Travis Kelce tries again 

Swift might have still been on tour, and Kelce might have already been shot down once, but that didn’t keep him from trying again. 

While appearing on The Pat McAfee Show, Kelce said he told Swift, “I've seen you rock the stage at Arrowhead [Stadium]. You might have to come see me rock the stage at Arrowhead and see which one's a little more lit." It was unclear how he told her or when, though. 

September 24, 2023: Taylor Swift attends her first-ever Chiefs game 

You best believe Swift is still going out tonight because three days after Kelce said he invited the pop star to Arrowhead, Swift showed up! 

The singer sat in Kelce’s private box during the game and was seen leaving hand-in-hand with the football star after the game ended. Clearly something was afoot between July and late September 2023 and the buddings of a relationship were set in motion. 

September 27, 2023: Travis Kelce talks about Taylor Swift at his game

Less than a week after Swift went to The Chiefs game, Kelce once again went on his podcast to say how much his family loved her. 

"Shout out to Taylor for pulling up. That was pretty ballsy," he said. “I just thought it was awesome how everybody in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her—the friends and family. She looked amazing and everybody was talking about her in a great light.” 

Talk about cute! 

October 1, 2023: Taylor Swift attends another Chiefs game

One thing about Swift is that she loves her “squad,” and her October 1 outing to the New York Jets vs. Kansas City Chiefs game was no different. The singer could be found cheering on the 2023 Super Bowl champs with friends like Blake Lively, Sabrina Carpenter, Ryan Reynolds and others. 

October 4, 2023: Travis Kelce reveals how he feels about the media coverage 

It's no secret that the National Football League (NFL) loves to highlight when Swift is at a game, but if you were to ask Jason Kelce, he thinks, "They're overdoing it.” 

Appearing on their joint podcast again, the brothers talked about how they feel about it, with Travis saying, “I think it’s fun when they show who was at the game. I think it brings a little bit more to the atmosphere, brings a little bit more to what you’re watching.”

"They’re overdoing it a little bit for sure, especially my situation. [But] I think they’re just trying to have fun with it."

October 6, 2023: Travis Kelce’s ‘on top of the world’ 

Just two days after Swift brought all of her friends out to cheer for the Chiefs, Kelce decided to say, "As all the attention comes...it feels like I was on top of the world after the Super Bowl, and right now I'm even more on top of the world."

He also said that he knows “a lot of people that care about Taylor, and for good reason." It seems a few people care more than Kelce, though!

October 14, 2023: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce appear on 'SNL' together 

After a night out in New York City, Swift and Kelce decided to pop into the Saturday Night Live studio before leaving hand-in-hand. This was also the night Kelce went viral for opening Swift’s car door and pushing her security guard out of the way, which she references in her song “So High School” when she says “get my car door isn’t that sweet.” 

“I didn't push him. I placed my hand on the gentleman’s back to let him know I was behind him. If I would’ve pushed him, he probably would’ve turned around and tased me,” Kelce clarified on his podcast. “I feel like whenever I'm on a date, I always have the sense of being a man in the situation. I'm protective, for sure.” 

October 23, 2023: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have a PDA moment 

After attending the Chief’s game earlier that night, Swift and Kelce were seen having an adorable PDA moment on Chariah Gordon’s Instagram. In the photo, the singer is seen kissing the Super Bowl champion on the cheek while he sports a huge smile. Talk about a cuteness overload. 

November 11, 2023: Travis Kelce attends The Eras Tour again 

11/11 was a big moment in Swift and Kelce’s relationship. It was the first time the tight end attended The Eras Tour in the VIP tent with Swift’s dad, Scott. This was also the first time Swift changed her “Karma” lyrics from “Karma is the guy on the screen” to “Karma is the guy on The Chiefs.” She would continue to do so at every game Kelce attended. 

December 6, 2023: Taylor Swift publicly comments on dating Travis Kelce

During her Time’s 2023 Person of the Year interview, Swift actually took the time to clarify some gray details in her and Kelce’s relationship timeline. 

“[It] all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell,” the singer said. “We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for because we got to get to know each other," 

"I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game. We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.” 

December 25, 2023: The couple spends Christmas together 

Swift and Kelce were saying “ho ho ho” last Christmas, as they decided to spend it together at The Chiefs game. While there, Swift would be seen sporting a Santa hat with Kelce’s number on it. Be right back, adding that hat to our current holiday wish list. 

January 21, 2024: Taylor Swift gets in good with the family

While cheering on Travis at the AFC Divisional Playoff game, Swift decided it was time to hang out with Jason and his wife Kylie. The three were spotted eagerly chatting in the box, and yes, this was the game where Jason ripped his shirt off in front of her. 

January 28, 2024: Travis Kelce Wins The AFC Championship Game

Sound the victory bell, because Kelce is going back to the Super Bowl! And who else would he celebrate with besides Swift? After his win, the couple could be found smiling and whispering down on the field. 

February 11, 2024: Travis Kelce Wins The Super Bowl

It was the kiss seen all around the world. After his Super Bowl win, Kelce ditched the trophy and went right over to kiss Swift, which was a moment she referenced in her song “The Alchemy.” After that, the two were spotted with their arms around one another, with Swift saying things like, “I’m so proud of you” and “That was unbelievable.” 

April 13, 2024: The couple takes on Coachella

Just because she wasn't singing at the music festival doesn't mean Swift can’t attend with her beau. The two were seen dancing to Ice Spice, and Swift even wore a hat to promote Kelce’s podcast, New Heights—which reportedly sold out the next day. 

April 19, 2024:’The Tortured Poets Department’ comes out 

Most people probably fear the day they learn Swift is going to write a song about them, but not Kelce! The tight end is rumored to have two songs from Swift’s 10th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, written about him—”So High School” and “The Alchemy”—with the first one even being added to The Eras Tour setlist. 

June 22, 2024: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce hard launch on Instagram

This is a date that will live in infamy, because it was the first time Swift posted a picture with Kelce on her Instagram. The selfie featured the two of them as well as Prince William, his Prince George and Princess Charlotte backstage at The Eras tour, and let us tell you, it’s adorable. 

June 23, 2024: Travis Kelce makes his Eras Tour debut 

Just one day after his Instagram debut, Kelce made his Eras Tour debut as a backup dancer during the “I Can Do It with a Broken Heart”  intro during Swift’s third night at Wembley Stadium in London. 

Writes Swift, “I’m still cracking up/swooning over @killatrav’s Eras Tour debut”—and so are we! It was simply perfect. 

September 5, 2024: Taylor Swift re-enters her fan-girl era

During the Chiefs season opener, Swift officially reentered her fan girl era. The singer could be seen sporting thigh-high red boots and an all-denim outfit that served as the perfect look for her romantic walk with Kelce later in the night. 

September 8, 2024: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce attend The U.S. Open 

On September 8, the couple decided to trade their footballs for tennis balls and attend the Men’s U.S. Open finals match between Jannik Sinner (Italy) and Taylor Fritz (United States of America) with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. While there, the two engaged in copious amounts of PDA and drank a lot of the venue’s signature cocktail, The Honey Deuce.  

September 11, 2024:Taylor Swift shouts-out Travis Kelce

While accepting her award for Video of the Year at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, Swift decided to use the opportunity to shout-out her biggest fan: Kelce. 

"Something that I’ll always remember is when I finished a take, and I’d say 'cut,' and we’d be done with that take, I would always hear someone cheering from across the studio where we were shooting it. That one person was my boyfriend Travis. Everything this man touches turns to happiness and fun and magic, so I want to thank him for adding that to our shoot because I’ll always remember that."

September 15, 2024: Taylor Swift attends second Chiefs game

By now, it’s probably quite clear that Swift loves to support her man at games, but September 15 marked the last one Swift attended. Since then, The Chiefs have had two games—one of which was in Los Angeles—but the singer was not spotted at either of them. 

October 5, 2024: Travis Kelce says Taylor Swift is coming to the next game

Despite Swift’s absence for the last couple of games. Kelce knows Swift will be at his game on Monday, October 7, and even said while smiling, “I know she's coming in for the game.”
