Taylor Swift's 'Eras Tour' concert film comes to central Iowa theaters next month

Taylor Swift is bringing "The Eras Tour" concert film to the metro area.

The tour is expected to be one of the highest-grossing tours in history and features Swift throughout the span of her career from her self-titled debut album to her rerecording of past albums and 2022's "Midnights."

Swifties can also purchase tickets at AMC and Cinemark Theatres locations across central Iowa. The Palms in Waukee, Flix Brewhouse at Merle Hay Mall, and the Varsity Theater in the Drake neighborhood, among others, will also host screenings.

"The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far and I’m overjoyed to tell you that it’ll be coming to the big screen soon," the global superstar said in an Instagram post last week. "Starting Oct 13th you’ll be able to experience the concert film in theaters in North America! Tickets are on sale now. Eras attire, friendship bracelets, singing and dancing encouraged."

The Eras Tour first began in March in Glendale, Arizona, but didn't make its way to the Des Moines metro. The tour did make nearby stops in the Twin Cities, Chicago and Kansas City. Tickets for the cinematic version of the tour are on sale now.
