Taylor Swift's Music Video Director Compares Her to Nicole Brown Simpson as He Defends Singer Amid Kanye West 'Famous' Feud

Taylor Swift has another supporter amid her "Famous" feud with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West.

Swift's "Bad Blood" director Joseph Kahn took to Twitter on Monday to defend the singer writing, "Kanye didn't say the line 'I made that bitch famous' on the call. It's like saying 'I want to love you 'without 'in the a--.'"

In addition, Kahn – who also directed Swift's music videos "Wildest Dreams" and "Blank Space" – likened the 26-year-old pop star to Kardashian family friend Nicole Brown Simpson.

"Ain't the first time the Kardashians supported the murder of an innocent blonde woman," Kahn, 43, tweeted.

In 1994, Nicole was found dead in her Brentwood, California home. Her ex-husband, O.J. Simpson, was found not guilty. Kardashian West's late father Robert Kardashian served as one of his defense attorneys throughout the trial.

Brown Simpson was one of Kris Jenner's best friends and for nearly two decades the Kardashian-Simpson families shared vacations with their children, celebrated countless birthdays and supported each other through good times and bad.

"I have these vivid memories of an amazing friendship and a life that we all had together. She was funny, she was beautiful and loyal and passionate and the best mom I had ever met," Jenner told PEOPLE in January about her late friend.

This isn't the first time Kahn defended Swift. She faced backlash for featuring a largely white cast following the release of her "Wildest Dreams" music video. Kahn said he was "proud" of his collaboration with Swift.
