'Teen Mom' star Jenelle Evans's ex-husband arrested after allegedly assaulting a woman
Another day, another Teen Mom headline.
The ex-husband of Teen Mom 2 and Teen Mom OG star Jenelle Evans was arrested (again) in North Carolina. According to TMZ, Courtland Keith Rogers was booked for one count of misdemeanor assault on a woman. Details of the incident are unknown at this time.
Rogers and Evans were married from 2012 to 2014 but don’t have any children together. (The reality star has two sons and one daughter with three different men.) This is hardly Rogers’s first run-in with the law. In March, he was indicted on two drug-related charges for “selling and delivering schedule III substances and for possession with intent to sell and distribute schedule III substances.” He was also hit with a habitual felon charge because he had been arrested and convicted for his third felony in North Carolina in 2013. Both Evans and Rogers were arrested in April 2013 for heroin possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, and assault.
Evans has not commented on her ex-husband’s recent lockup, but in April she told E! News his arrest was “not surprising, that’s all I have to say.”
As far as Evans’s current personal state of affairs, things seem to be trending up. On Friday, the MTV star hinted that she and her estranged mom are working on their relationship for the sake of her 9-year-old son, Jace, who currently lives with his grandmother. Evans is also mother to a 4-year-old son, Kaiser, and a 1-year-old daughter, Ensley, whom she had with husband David Eason.
