'Teen Mom 2' star storms off reunion set following heated exchange, leaving Twitter super confused
It was a dramatic night on part one of the Teen Mom 2 reunion special Tuesday, which is not all that surprising, but it was Briana DeJesus going from 0 to 100 on Devoin Austin, whom she shares daughter Nova with, in the blink of an eye that had viewers on social media super confused.
It all started after Briana thanked Devoin for stepping up as a father figure for Stella, her youngest daughter from a different man, Luis Hernandez, whom she says has been an absentee father. "Stella is gonna mend my relationship with Devoin. I think she's gonna be the person to bring me and Devoin closer. I think that's why Stella's here," Briana shared. However, the statement was a little premature, because just moments after the surprising compliment, the teen mom flipped and began attacking Devoin, when the topic of child support was brought up.
At the time of the taping, Devoin shared that Briana had asked for $250 a month, and that he had, so far, paid $1,800, but that she had not officially put him on child support. However, he also didn't have a problem if that's what she wanted to do.
"If you wanted to put me on child support, I would stay the same person I am. I would treat you the same way. I would still be there for Stella. If you want to do that, you can do that. I don't mind that. Do that. If that's what you feel like, you wanna get a number set, do that, please," Devoin told Briana. Devoin then pointed out that it had taken him a long time to get to a place in his life where he could afford to pay Briana child support, unlike her who has "been rocking Louboutins" for a while. That's when Briana got defensive, stating, "Listen, I've been taking care of Nova before MTV. Let's remember, Teen Mom 3 was canceled for a while, and I had my 9-to-5 job. Who the f*** was taking care of her then? Not f***ing MTV. Me. Me! Me!"
Briana went on to slam Devoin for buying "a five hundred dollar pair of jeans" but only buying Nova a pair of sneakers. "You don't do what you need to do as a father," said Briana. "You do bare minimum."
"You're not a real man," Briana exclaimed as the two began to shout over one another. The heated exchange became so intense, that host Dr. Drew Pinsky eventually decided to go sit in between them to break things up. "You're spinning here," said Dr. Drew.
Meanwhile, on social media, viewers took to Twitter in support of Devoin:

However, in the end, Devoin was not down for the craziness and, ultimately, said peace out as he stormed off set saying that he was done.
