Teresa Giudice Is Training to Become a Yoga Instructor

Teresa Giudice is getting her namaste on.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star became such a big fan of yoga during her time behind bars that she’s now training to become a yoga instructor. On Monday, the 43-year-old reality star posted an Instagram pic with a group of women, captioning it, “#nirvana #TeacherTraining2016 #adjustmentworkshop #authenticisthenewspritual.”

In her memoir, Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again, Teresa said she has big plans for her yoga career. “I want to come out with my own yoga DVD tape, my own yoga line. If you put out what you want, sometimes you get it,” she wrote. “Never say, ‘I can’t do that,’ because then you’re already bringing yourself down.”

In February, the reality star opened up to The Insider With Yahoo about her Zen prison workout. “I came to love doing yoga, which totally calmed me down in many ways, and it helped me with… not only my body, but with my mind,” she said.

Teresa’s husband, Joe, checked himself into prison last week to begin serving his 41-month sentence. “It was obviously a very emotional day, but this is a very strong family with a tremendous support system, and they will get through this, just as they did when Teresa was away,” the family’s attorney said in a statement.
