‘Terrifier 3’ Partners With Iconic Events Releasing for October Theatrical Run (EXCLUSIVE)
Art the Clown will be back for Halloween this fall, with some help from Iconic Events Releasing. The distribution banner has partnered with Cineverse and its horror division Bloody Disgusting to handle theatrical distribution on “Terrifier 3,” the next entry in the ongoing cult horror series.
Announced at CinemaCon Tuesday morning, the partnership between the companies marks a continuation from “Terrifier 2,” which Iconic Events distributed theatrically in 2022. That feature earned more than $15 million at the global box office, marking a huge return on its scrappy $250,000 production budget.

“Iconic absolutely crushed it for us with ‘Terrifier 2,’” said Brad Miska, Cineverse VP of business development and managing director of Bloody Disgusting. “When the film went viral, they did a tremendous job keeping up with the hype and helped us secure thousands of screens across the country. With several months to plan, we know they’re the perfect partner to help us take the franchise to the next level with ‘Terrifier 3.’”
“Iconic Events is thrilled to be able to continue our partnership with Cineverse and showcase the next ‘Terrifier’ film in the only way it’s meant to be seen … on the big screen” said Steven Menkin, president and co-founder of Iconic Events Releasing. “The response from fans for ‘Terrifier 2’ was overwhelming and we are excited to give them more of everything that they have come to expect from the ‘Terrifier’ theatrical experience.
“Terrifier 3” is written and directed by Damien Leone and produced by Phil Falcone. The returning cast includes Lauren LaVera, David Howard Thornton, Samantha Scaffidi, Elliot Fullam and AEW icon Chris Jericho. The new entry will hit theaters on Oct. 25. Following a theatrical run, Cineverse will release the film across platforms, including its Screambox horror streaming service.
