Tessa Thompson Hilariously Addresses ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Absence
(MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD for the ending of “Avengers: Infinity War.” So if you don’t know how it ends and don’t want to know, leave now.)
Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War” brought together just about every character from the studio’s 18-film universe to stop Thanos’ quest to wipe out half the known universe. But one character, Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie from “Thor: Ragnarok,” was absent and many of the millions of fans who saw the film last weekend noticed.
On Sunday, Thompson put fans at ease by explaining her role in the film.

Confused? Thompson was referencing a Twitter account that was created in March, @Tessasgoats, which showcases goats that look like the actress.

Valkryie was last seen with Thor, Loki and Heimdall at the end of “Thor Ragnorok” on the Asgardian refugee ship to Earth. The opening moments of “Infinity War” show they did not make it very far, with Loki and Heimdall dying at the hands of Thanos, seemingly putting Valkryie’s fate up in the air. But with Thanos’ whole “only kill half” motif, it’s possible she survived.
Or she was turned into a goat and is somewhere running around Wakanda after Bucky perished. The Infinity Gauntlet is pretty powerful.
