‘The Comedy Central Roast of Rob Lowe’ in 2 Minutes

The Comedy Central Roast of Rob Lowe aired Sunday night, and none of the roasters pulled any punches. Lowe’s dais was composed of Ralph Macchio, Peyton Manning, Nikki Glaser, Ann Coulter, Pete Davidson, Jimmy Carr, Rob Riggle, Jeffrey Ross, Jewel, and host David Spade.

Most of the jokes directed toward Lowe centered around his sex-tape with a 16-year-old girl in 1988. Comedian Nikki Glaser said, “You look like you’re sculpted. I mean, you put the ‘statue’ in ‘statutory rape.'” While the roast was in Lowe’s honor, the dais received a large quantity of the insults, particularly Peyton Manning’s well-endowed forehead. Pete Davidson joked, “Peyton looks like if football players evolved to no longer need helmets.”

Ann Coulter also took a lot of flak from both the audience and her fellow roasters. The conservative pundit was greeted with boos, which didn’t help when she delivered by far the weakest performance. Lowe said of her performance, “You know, Ann, after seeing your set tonight, I think we’ve all witnessed the first bombing that you can’t blame on a Muslim.”
