‘The Daily Show’ Proves That Donald Trump is Basically a Rapper

Superfan

Donald Trump has maintained his place as the GOP Presidential frontrunner in large part because of his outlandish statements. But Daily Show correspondent Roy Wood Jr. realized that Trump sounds less like a president, and more like a rapper. Wood Jr. cited Trump’s propensity to brag about money, how he disrespects women, and how fights alway seem to break out at his events. He proved it even further by creating a rap song compiled entirely from Donald Trump quotes, and even gives the date of the quote for context and realism.

Calling himself Black Trump, Woods Jr. hits all the staples of a good rap video, even employing fellow Daily Show member Jordan Kepler as his sidekick. And this take is definitely better than auto-tuned Trump. The video also featured the campaign posters of Ted Cruz, Bernie Sanders, and wonderful homages to the Donald himself. With a great beat, you can make anyone’s ridiculous comments a rap song. And if Trump gets the nomination, there will be a whole album worth of material to drop come November.
