The Evil Queen Returns and Literally Gets Her Heart Crushed on 'Once Upon a Time'

After getting sucked through a portal, Snow White, Prince Charming, Captain Hook, and the Wicked Witch of the West ended up in an unfamiliar world, where they met Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. The doctor concocted a potion to free himself from his evil alter ego, Mr. Hyde, and it worked, as one man painfully split into two.

Regina has been struggling with the darkness inside of her for a while now, and the good doctor gave her some of the potion he whipped up so she could rid herself of the Evil Queen. With Emma and Snow standing by, Regina gave herself the shot and writhed in pain as the Evil Queen vacated her body. Once Regina was face-to-face with her evil self, she punched into the queen’s chest, ripped out her heart, and crushed it into dust, which turned the Evil Queen herself into dust.

Just when everyone thought the Evil Queen was gone for good, the show ended with her reappearing in Chinatown and ripping the Dragon’s heart out and exclaiming, “The Queen is back!”
