THELMA's 13 Thursdays concert series kicks off June 6 in Fond du Lac. Here's the full lineup of performers.

FOND DU LAC – Weekly live music will soon play over the downtown area again this summer.

The Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts, 51 Sheboygan St., will present its Thirteen Thursdays concert series starting June 6, returning with a new music act every Thursday through Sept. 5, with the exception of July 4.

Each concert starts at 7 p.m., and the bar opens at 6 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public, with donations accepted at the entry gates.

Remember when? Remember when the Forest Mall first opened in Fond du Lac? Features included the fountain and yearly bazaars.

Music in June features Americana and swing sounds

Kicking off the series is Americana band Copper Box, which specializes in both original music and multi-genre covers of familiar songs, featuring a variety of instruments like accordion and saxophone in addition to the drums, guitar and vocals.

Horn band Stephen Cooper and The Nobody Famous will perform June 13, known across Wisconsin for upbeat blues and soul music.

On June 20, Whole Yachta Love will bring back "Yacht Rock," guilty pleasure songs from the 1970s and 1980s. Its tagline is "the songs you hate to love gingerly pressed into your ear holes."

Remington's Ride will bring the sounds of vintage western swing to Fond du Lac June 27, as well as roots country, Americana, rockabilly and honky tonk.

July acts bring worldly flair to Fond du Lac

July 11 will feature pop duo REYNA, formed by sisters Vic and Gabby Banuelos to present electro-pop inspired by the 1980s.

KOJO will play next on July 18 with a blend of Caribbean music, reggae, soca and Afrobeat.

The final musician for July will be Reilly July 25, combining traditional Irish music with contemporary American and Celtic rock.

Gilles turns 75: Gilles marks 75 years in Fond du Lac, built on its original values of quality food, friendly service and cleanliness

The rest of the summer will be filled with past hits, present favorites

Coming out of the Milwaukee and Chicago area, Throwback Stereo will perform Aug. 1 for a night of reliving the best of the 1990s era.

The Beatles cover band The Britins will follow Aug. 8, bringing audiences further back to the 1960s.

Chicken Wire Empire will play Aug. 15, sharing its contemporary bluegrass sound with genre-blending fusions.

Madison-based blues group The Jimmys will play Aug. 22 as a seven-piece band with a goal to get audiences up, energized and dancing.

The 5-Card Studs will bring back forgotten favorites and top 40 A.M. Gold hits Aug. 29, whether pop, rock or disco.

Rounding out the series will be Kyle Megna & The Monsoons Sept. 5 with a self-described "dark-indie-blues-folk-rock" feel to its music.

Each concert throughout the series will also feature a local non-profit set up at a table to engage with guests.
