'This is very dangerous': 'The View' co-hosts slam Trump, Lindsey Graham amid racist tweet controversy
The panel of The View weighed in on the recent controversial tweets by President Trump, slamming the president for encouraging four democratic congresswomen, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, to “go back” to the “crime infested places from which they came.”
So interesting to see “Progressive” Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly......

....and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run. Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how....

....it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!

“This is very dangerous,” said co-host Whoopi Goldberg. “You don’t want to be telling people to ‘go back to their country’ because if we gotta go, you’re going too,” she added.
Senator Lindsey Graham added even more fuel to the fire after a Monday morning appearance on Fox & Friends. Graham defended Trump’s comments, and further attacked the congresswomen.
“We all know that AOC and this crowd are a bunch of communists,” said Graham. “They hate Israel, they hate our own country,” he added.
Conservative co-host Meghan McCain, who knows Graham personally, expressed surprise at his comments. “Whatever is happening to Lindsey, this is not the person I used to know,” she said.
After Trump’s tweets, McCain declared the comments “racist.”
This is racist. And I see Trump people are trying to spin this to just be about Rep. Omar, but we all know that’s a lie. But even if it were just about Rep. Omar, it would still be racist. We don’t tell people we’ve welcomed into this country to “go back.” https://t.co/v1uCPqCRVK

McCain defended conservatives and expressed her anger at other republicans for not condemning Trump and Graham. “This is what people think all conservatives are now, and we are not,” she said. “The cowardice I’m seeing, republicans not speaking out and saying it today, is embarrassing,” she added.
Co-host Sunny Hostin shared her dismay at Trump’s comments, saying “I remember being told ‘go back to Africa’ and all this nonsense. And it’s so hurtful and it’s so dismissive. I always thought those people are just hateful and ignorant and racist. I never thought the day would come when I would hear that from the president of the United States of America.”
Many viewers on Twitter agreed with the panel that Trump and Graham’s comments were inappropriate:
Lindsay Graham has no character. Thinking he’s changed is naive. His public persona moves with the wind. His evil character has always remained the same.

This is the danger of having SHEEP as politicians they have nothing to offer but others ideas and if a Monster is who they follow then we see Monster Sheep a disgusting mob seeking to destroy. John McCain had issues but he also had morals. Trump has NONE. This is the #GOP today.

One viewer applauded McCain for calling out other republicans for their silence:
@MeghanMcCain may not be everyone’s flavor. But..to me..she does call out the #GOP when they need to be called out. I’m liberal and like Meghan. Sue me

Others disagreed, and felt neither the president nor Graham did anything wrong:
Taken out of context again by the View.
I read President Trump's tweet and he was challenging the ladies to see if they can do better, but the media AGAIN twisted his words.— American Patriot (@seattlecastro) July 15, 2019
President Trump said nothing wrong, nor inaccurate.
