Thom Latimer Beats EC3, Wins NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title At NWA 76

Thom Latimer has won the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship.

On August 31, the National Wrestling Alliance held their 76th Anniversary Show from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In the main event, Thom Latimer challenged EC3 for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship and emerged victorious. In doing so, he won the title for the first time.

EC3 held the title for 370 days. He won the gold by defeating Tyrus at NWA’s 75th Anniversary Show on August 27, 2023.

Thom Latimer has been with NWA since 2019. He is a former NWA National Heavyweight Champion, NWA World Television Champion, and NWA World Tag Team Champion.

Latimer previously had a prominent run as Bram in TNA. He held the TNA King of the Mountain Championship, and he was on the winning team in the Global Impact Tournament in 2015.
