Thomas Rhett Throws Plane Etiquette Out the Window in 'the Best Photos Ever Taken'
Thomas Rhett doesn't care what the critics have to say— when the wheels go up, the dawgs come out!
The "Die A Happy Man" singer was quick to let loose on a "5 hour flight to Edmonton," where he's scheduled to perform on Saturday, Sept. 14.
In new photos uploaded to his Instagram on the evening of Sept. 12, he showed off a variety of unconventional seating positions, hanging his legs out into the aisle in one, resting his feet against the headrest in front of him in another, and even swinging around to drape his legs over the back of his own seat in a backward position, all while barefoot.
While there's admittedly little etiquette required when you're a country star flying private, fans were still perturbed by his lack of footwear—or, at least, with the fact that he was so willing to show it off online.
"Nooooooo feet on the seat......" one wrote in disappointment, while another quipped, "Dawgs are off the leash, eh? ??."
"BRO PUT THE DAWGS AWAY??," someone else ordered, while another stressed, "THOMAS NOT THE DAWGS."
"Dang giving the ppl them dawgs for free," someone else questioned.
Unfortunately, Rhett wasn't up to date on the lingo, later commenting, "Y’all I had no clue what 'dawgs' were." He had to ask his 25-year-old brother-in-law for a quick vocab lesson, later joking, "I’m just auditioning for my foot modeling career."
Isaac Apon, a photographer, tagged Grayson Gregory, who appears to be the musician's official tour photographer, underneath the snapshots, telling him that they were "the best photos you’ve ever taken."
"My career has officially peaked ??," he joked in response.
