Tia Mowry Reveals Daughter Cairo ‘Has the Personality’ for This Career Already
It’s no secret that Tia Mowry’s daughter Cairo has a big, beautiful personality, and apparently, it’s perfect for this type of career, according to her mama. If you guessed acting, then you’re right. But the other question is: could Cairo be a child actor?
In an exclusive clip shared with PEOPLE from Mowry’s new reality TV show, Tia Mowry: My Next Act, she talked about whether her daughter would be a child actor like her.

“She has the personality. Because that’s kind of like the first thing you look at, I guess,” she said. “I don’t think that I would even allow her [to act] if I didn’t see that she was capable.”
She added, “Which is important, because a lot of parents see the dollars and the cents of it all.”
Mowry also talked about how she and Tamera Mowry’s mother was their manager, which is something she doesn’t want to do with her kids.
“Especially I feel like when the child’s manager is a caretaker. And that is something I do not want to do,” she said. “My mother was our manager. And I was like, I want to have a relationship with my mother.”
For those who don’t know, Mowry and her ex-husband Cory Hardrict have welcomed two children together named Cree, born in June 2011, and Cairo, born in May 2018.
In a previous interview with SheKnows, Mowry talked about how her daughter wants to be like her already.
“My daughter’s five and I’m now starting to see how she wants to do things that mommy does,” Mowry gleefully said. She’s seen Cairo “start putting on my high heels” and “putting my hair extensions in her hair.”
