Tiffany Haddish Pleads Not Guilty In DUI Case
Tiffany Haddish has pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a .08% BAC.
According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Haddish pled "not guilty" to the two counts brought by the L.A. County District Attorney's Office during her arraignment on Wednesday.
As we reported, the actress was arrested in Beverly Hills last month after cops said that they found her asleep at the wheel, while it was still turned on in the middle of the road.
Tiffany Haddish Facing Two Misdemeanors Charges
As we previously reported, the actress was charged with two misdemeanors and faces mandatory jail time (up to four days) if found guilty. She was arrested on November 24, 2023.
A Georgia judge recently mandated that the famous comedian refrain from alcoholic drinks or using illegal substances following her second DUI arrest. She is also required to undergo random drug testing until further notice.
Haddish is currently prohibited from consuming alcohol or using substances, including HEM products like CBD. The judge also specified that any prescription drugs must adhere to therapeutic limits. The order does allow the actress to take prescription drugs "within the therapeutic limit."
Additionally, the documents state Haddish must "submit to a drug test panel that detects the use of general illegal drugs and shall include testing for ETG and ETS, alcohol metabolites."
The "decision came after prosecutors asked the court to modify Haddish’s bond conditions" following her recent arrest in Beverly Hills, California, per the documents. Police suspect Haddish of driving under the influence.
Tiffany Haddish Vows To Get Help
This is not Tiffany Haddish’s first DUI charge, as she found herself in a similar situation last year in Atlanta. At the time, Peachtree City police had also reportedly received a phone call about a person seen sleeping in their car.
After her second DUI charge, the actress and comedian pledged that "this will never happen again."
"I'm going to get some help so I can learn balance and boundaries," she told Entertainment Tonight.
During an appearance on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' later that month, she made light of the situation, stating, "I've been praying to God to send me a new man, a good man. God went ahead and sent me four in a uniform."
"I wasn't expecting it. I was not expecting that at all," she said, adding, "Now, I've got a really great lawyer, and we're going to work it out. I've got to get my asking of things to God a little better."

The actress recently posed for a beach photoshoot just days after her DUI charge.
“I Love being silly on the black sand beach. I have always wanted to do a swimsuit photo shoot. This silly one will do for now," Haddish captioned her post. She was seen wearing a blue maxi dress cover-up and frolicking on the sandy beaches of Hawaii.
In the second video, she ditched the dress and wore a black bathing suit bottom, twerking in front of the ocean waves.
