Tiffany Pollard Embraces Being A Reality TV Villain, Teases ‘Flavor Of Love’ 2024 Reunion
Tiffany Pollard, widely known as “New York” from the first two seasons of Flavor Of Love, is gearing up for the premiere of her next reality TV venture.
The 41-year-old is set to star on E!‘s House of Villains, which will bring together some of reality television‘s most elite antagonists including The Apprentice‘s Omarosa, Love & Hip-Hop: Miami‘s Bobby Lytes, and Bad Girls Club‘s Tanisha. She explained to Rolling Stone that being a “villain” is a label she wears often, but actually considers it more of a “badge of honor.”
Pollard shared, “Well, you know what it is. I spend so much time with myself that no one knows me better than I do. So it’s not a label that I continuously put in the forefront before I do anything. But if people perceive me to be a villain, it’s not so bad. Because being a villain, you have to be strong, you have to have some level of competence. So it’s actually more like a badge of honor.”
Despite essentially being the first Black bachelorette on television, Pollard feels she doesn’t get her flowers when it comes to making history, and is now mostly seen as a villain and as the face of many memes.
Her favorite one is the one of her sitting on the bed. “That’s perfect communication. It says so many things without saying anything,” she explained.
Of her new show, the I Love New York star revealed that she “couldn’t imagine sitting at home watching it and not being a part of it,” but also teased a potential Flavor Of Love reunion in 2024 and shared that she will be hosting a different show with her being the “HBIC.”
House Of Villains premieres on Oct. 12 at 10 p.m. ET/PT across Bravo, SyFy and USA simultaneously.
