Tim McGraw fell backward offstage during an Arizona concert. Here's what we know
Tim McGraw lost his balance and fell off the edge of a catwalk while performing at Tempe Beach Park on Saturday, Sept. 17.
The country singer was headlining a concert called Boots in the Park with Dustin Lynch, Ryan Hurd, Tenille Arts, Frank Ray and Joe Peters.
It happened at the end of his performance when the singer got down on one knee and bowed to his guitarist. He lost his balance getting up and toppled backward into the audience, where security guards broke his fall.
McGraw emerged unscathed, greeting fans by the barricade with a smile after checking to make sure his hat was on straight.
Several videos capturing the moment went viral on social media. One TikTok user noted, "When Tim McGraw's bun hugging jeans are too tight to get up, he just falls and greets the crowd."
That video has been viewed more than 187,000 times.
A McGraw rep told ET the singer, 55, is doing fine.
