Tim McGraw's Daughter Gracie Quotes Taylor Swift in Throwback Photo for Viral Paris Olympics Trend
Gracie McGraw just wants her fans to know that she did not qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics—and she did so while quoting "Taylor Swift" and posting a throwback photo as part of a viral trend.
On Aug. 7, Gracie—the 27-year-old daughter of country stars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill—took to Instagram with a picture of herself as a child. The snap showed her running on a track while holding a baton, seemingly as part of a relay team.
"Unfortunately, as I’m sure you are all aware, I did not make it on Team USA this year," she captioned the update. "It is such a bummer that I won’t be competing but I’m so happy to be cheering on the team from my couch at home. Shout out to the USA Olympic team!"
Gracie concluded by jokingly writing, "'It not whether you win or lose, it’s how you play the game.' - Taylor Swift.” (The quote is actually a variation of what American sportswriter Grant Rice wrote in a 1941 poem.)

In the comments, Gracie's Instagram followers matched her energy with their reactions. One person wrote, "I feel LA 2028 may be calling your name tho."
Another declared, "Here, queen-- you dropped these ??????," while someone else commented, "That’s my Olympian."
"I was wondering about this :( thanks for sharing," one follower wrote.
Meanwhile, someone else shared, "This is my favorite."
Gracie isn't the only celebrity to participate in the Olympic trend. Recently, Jennifer Garner also got in on the social media trend after posting a video of her attempting a 33-inch high box jump.
"Sad to announce I did not make the cut for Paris 2024," she wrote on the Instagram clip, which showed her landing on her knees and erupting into laughter.
In addition to Gracie, Hill and McGraw share two other daughters, Maggie, 25, and Audrey, 22.
