Time For Spring Cleaning, 'AFV'-Style

Kristen BaldwinEditor-in-Chief, Yahoo Entertainment

Now that spring is finally upon us (though it doesn’t really feel like it here on the East Coast), you’re probably starting to think about tackling those household cleaning and organizing projects that have been neglected all winter. And as any parent knows, no cleaning project is complete without kids who want to “help.”

Seriously, kids love to clean. When they see mom and dad with a mop or Swiffer, they immediately want one of their own. (Hence the cottage industry of toy cleaning supplies.) Unfortunately most kids aren’t coordinated enough to be a real help, but that doesn’t mean it’s not cute when they try. This AFV montage of kids pitching in on the household chores features several examples of this phenomenon — from the confused baby riding the Roomba to the toddler who wipes up his spilled milk and spills more milk at the same time. But 100 million bonus points to the little girl who valiantly attempts to “wash” her parents clothes… in the toilet. Kids spread the darndest germs, amirite?

AFV airs Sundays at 7 p.m. on ABC.
