It’s time. Halloween is just days away, which means that it’s basically already Christmas. Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas kicked off last week, and that faint ringing of bells in the distance means Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” will soon be playing from every speaker in the country. Now Mattel has brought back the Barbie x Mariah Carey Holiday Celebration Doll, which is the ideal gift for Christmas lovers and Mariah fans of all ages.
More from Rolling Stone
The Barbie x Mariah Carey Holiday Celebration Doll comes with a stand and features the singer in a glittery red dress holding a microphone. The doll also comes in a display-worthy box, featuring a festive scene as a backdrop.
Mariah Carey will also embark on a 20-city Christmas tour, starting Nov. 6 and running through Dec. 17. The first dates will be in the Los Angeles area, followed by stops in cities like Phoenix, Dallas, and Philadelphia, before wrapping up in Brooklyn, New York. Tickets are available on Ticketmaster and resale sites like StubHub, VividSeats, and SeatGeek.
Carey gave fans a glimpse of what to expect from the tour, unveiling a playlist exclusively on Apple Music that features “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” covers of classic Christmas tunes, and a selection of her biggest hits like “We Belong Together,” “Always Be My Baby,” and “Emotions.”
Another thing fans can expect from the tour? Good lighting. Carey appeared on the Oct. 16 episode of the comedy podcast Las Culturistas, hosted by Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers. She inveighed against “hideous” overhead lighting during the show’s signature segment “I Don’t Think So Honey,” in which guests deliver their pettiest pet peeves for one minute. You can check out the segment below.
