Tinashe was photographed grabbing dinner at Craig’s in Los Angeles on Tuesday. The performer recently dropped her song “Nasty,” which has just earned its biggest streaming day of all time on Spotify on June 3, amassing over 1.127 million streams. This news likely explains her Spotify-centric ensemble.
Turning heads, the “2 On” songstress sported dazzling metallic silver knee-high boots. The striking style featured something akin to sculpture work on the shafts, offering a unique silhouette. The intersecting 3D sculpture work transitioned into reptilian uppers, imparting textural interest, and knife-like triangular toes fitted with zipper closures that travel up the shaft of each boot. With little to no effort at all, metallic style can take an outfit from fine to fabulous.
The style also included 2 to 3-inch stiletto heels, offering the performer a subtle and walkable boost in height. Tinashe’s footwear stopped just below her knees, the style curving in on itself at the top. Metallic footwear has become a hot commodity amongst celebrities.
The “Rascal” singer’s ensemble was equally exciting, encompassing Tinashe’s love of prints, colors and Y2K references. The performer’s top was long-sleeved and cropped, featuring a bright blue and black polka-dotted print on the sleeves and an almost neon yellow body with black writing scrawled across the bodice reading “Spotify.”
On the bottom, Tinashe donned deep red leather hip-hugging micro shorts fitted with grommet detailing all along the waistline, aptly paying homage to the 2000s. For the finishing touches, the songwriter wore a faux-fur burgundy hat accompanied by sunglasses and a black and white nylon Praying mini bag over her shoulder.
When it comes to shoes, Tinashe keeps her rotation slick on and off the red carpet. For formal occasions, the “All Hands on Deck” singer favors leather and crystal-accented platform sandals and pointed-toe pumps from brands including Givenchy, Casadei and René Caovilla.
