While Election Night was exhausting for countless Americans, it was a particularly long evening for news anchors like Savannah Guthrie.

Fans of Today expressed their concern for the broadcaster when she appeared on the show as usual on Wednesday morning following election coverage that went all night long.

The 52-year-old TV personality hosted Tuesday's episode of Today as expected before she went on to host NBC's primetime coverage of the election later on that night.

"Hi, everybody. We're back at 8 a.m. on the east coast, 5 a.m. in the west," Guthrie said the following morning on the Nov. 6 episode.

"If you are just waking up, a long election night stretching into the morning. I've had three cups of coffee lined up here," she added.

Social media users who saw Guthrie back at work were shocked, with many wondering if she was able to sleep at all.

"I wake up, I see @SavannahGuthrie on TV...come home from work she's on TV. I wake up today, she's STILL on TV. Has she slept!?" one person inquired.

"The amount of caffeine that has to be pumping through Savannah Guthrie’s body is probably alarming. Girl has been killing it on TV for 24 hours. Toasting my coffee to her," shared a second viewer.

"@SavannahGuthrie OMG Savannah, how are you still awake?" someone else wanted to know.

"Mad respect to @SavannahGuthrie, on air all night after polls closed and back on air this morning on the @TODAYshow — give the woman some sleep!" another fan declared.

Guthrie was joined by Lester Holt and a number of journalists reporting from battleground states on Tuesday night. NBC pre-empted Wednesday's broadcast of Hoda & Jenna to continue their ongoing coverage of the election.
