Savannah Chrisley filled in for her parents on the first family podcast since Todd and Julie Chrisley were hit with a federal indictment.

The newest episode of "Chrisley Confessions" dropped on Wednesday, with special hosts Savannah and her BFF, Chad.

"Well hello guys, welcome to ‘Chrisley Confessions’ if you don’t know who this is, this is the one and only Savannah Chrisley! And I have my best friend, Chad," the reality star explained.

Savannah continued, "We are taking over for mom and dad today, they miss you guys and they appreciate you, but hey you get the young fun folks in her today."

It's unclear when the podcast was taped, but if it was during the last week, there's a good chance Todd and Julie were pretty busy.

The episode, titled "A Place of Concern, Touchy Subject, and Perfection Takes Time," let Savannah and Chad answer questions from fans ... although don't get excited -- none of them have to do with allegations tax evasion.

The podcast drops one day after Todd and Julie surrendered to U.S. Marshals on charges of bank fraud and tax evasion.

Even though he didn't appear on the podcast, the patriarch of the Chrisley family made some comments on Thursday when he broke his silence in a lengthy post that confirmed the family's reality show is still going full steam ahead.

"Trust and believe that we are holding the right hand of God on this walk we are on, if he brings us to it he will bring us through it," Todd explained.

He continued, "We are getting back to work after this distraction and our show hasn’t been cancelled.

Sources familiar with the situation tell The Blast that the first half of Season 7 of "Chrisley Knows Best" aired earlier this year, and the second half is still scheduled to air in the fall on USA.
