Tom Hardy’s Next Movie After Venom: The Last Dance is with Aaron Taylor-Johnson
Tom Hardy is pairing with Aaron Taylor-Johnson for new crime thriller Blood on the Snow.
Directed by Cary Fukunaga (No Time To Die), and based on the novel by Jo Nesbo, it follows a hitman hunted by gangs after failing to take out his target.
The gritty action takes place in 1970’s Oslo, and casts Hardy and Taylor-Johnson as rival gang leaders. The former plays The Fisherman, while the latter plays Hoffman.
As per the synopsis: “Hoffman’s trusted hitman, Olav (Johnson), is a cold, efficient killer, perfect for the job. But beneath his ruthless exterior lies an unexpected intelligence and an unwavering moral code shaped by a complicated childhood…When Hoffman orders his own wife to be murdered, Olav’s principles clash with his loyalties. Instead of pulling the trigger, he hatches a scheme that makes him Hoffman’s next target and with nowhere safe to turn, Olav forms an uneasy alliance that places him at the heart of Oslo’s deadly gang war. Once a violent enforcer, Olav’s choice makes him an unlikely hero in a world where no good deed goes unpunished.”
It’s worth mentioning Hardy is not the headline star, however. According to Deadline, he has a “supporting role” in the movie. He and Taylor-Johnson have a history: both play Spider-Man villains. Hardy’s Venom: The Last Dance releases 25 October 2024, while Kraven The Hunter releases 13 December 2024.
Fukunaga may have directed the latest 007 movie, but Aaron Taylor-Johnson Is bored of being asked about Bond.
