Tony Awards 2024: Complete list of winners including 'The Outsiders,' Daniel Radcliffe
Broadway's biggest night brought out some of the biggest names in Hollywood this year.
The Tony Awards saw Daniel Radcliffe win his first Tony Award after five Broadway shows over 16 years for “Merrily We Roll Along,” a revival of Stephen Sondheim’s infamous flop musical.
Angelina Jolie earned her first Tony as a producer of “The Outsiders,” a gritty adaptation of S.E. Hinton’s novel, which took home Broadway’s biggest prize for best musical.
Rachel McAdams (“Mary Jane”), Eddie Redmayne ("Cabaret”), Jim Parsons ("Mother Play"), Sarah Paulson ("Appropriate") and Brooke Shields dazzled on the Tonys red carpet, while Jay-Z gave a surprise performance in support of Alicia Keys’ musical “Hell’s Kitchen,” and Hillary Clinton got a standing ovation as she introduced a performance from "Suffs," the historical musical she helped produce.
