It’s not clear what Teddi’s storyline will be in the upcoming season. Both 20th Television and CBS declined comment.
Weigert’s Teddi is a former touring manager for rock musicians who’s now settled into comfortable middle age in Northern Florida with her wife and a bunch of pets. Teddi is one half of the couple that runs Colter’s “back end”: seeking out new jobs, keeping track of the money and occasionally getting him sprung from jail, according to the official character description.
The series, based on the bestselling novel The Never Game by Jeffery Deaver, stars Hartley as Colter Shaw, a lone-wolf survivalist who roams the country as a reward seeker, using his expert tracking skills to help private citizens and law enforcement solve all manner of mysteries while contending with his own fractured family.
Hartley, Ken Olin, Elwood Reid and Ben Winters serve as executive producers.
