Travis and Jason Kelce Applaud Prince William and Kate Middleton's 'Good Parent Move' After Meeting Princess Charlotte
Travis and Jason Kelce are giving some royal props to Prince William and Kate Middleton's parenting skills.
The two brothers got to formally meet the Prince of Wales while attending Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in London over the weekend, but it was the future king's daughter, Princess Charlotte, who left a lasting impression.
While chatting about their royal encounter during the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, Jason said the "highlight" of the experience was meeting Princess Charlotte," and Travis seemed to agree, calling the 9-year-old princess a "superstar."
"I don't know. Maybe it's because I have three girls now," Jason, 36, went on to explain, referencing the three daughters he shares with wife Kylie Kelce: Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 3 and Bennett, 16 months.
"She had fire to her. She was asking questions," the former Eagles player said about Charlotte, adding, "That was the most electric part."
"I love it when parents ask their kids to be present, be vocal," Travis, 34, then chimed in, applauding the decision to raise kids to be confident, empowered individuals as "such a good parent move."
"Just a good meet and the picture, keep it moving. No, let them have a moment, let them feel comfortable in talking to people...If anyone’s doing it right, Prince William's doing it right," Travis said. "So thank you, Your Royal Highness. It was awesome meeting you, and Charlotte and George."
As we know, the Kansas City Chiefs player also got to snap a photo with Prince William and his two eldest children while backstage at Taylor's show on Friday, June 21.
The selfie later broke the internet when the "Anti-Hero" songstress shared it to Instagram, wishing a happy birthday to Prince William, who officially turned 42 the same day.
