Travis Kelce Reveals Why He Had 'Mixed Feelings' After His Baseball Date With Taylor Swift
Travis Kelce opened up about his highly-publicized date with Taylor Swift at the New York Yankees vs. Cleveland Guardians MLB game in the Bronx on Monday and it seems like it wasn’t as fun as it looked!
During an October 16 episode of his New Heights podcast, the Ohio native says he was left with “mixed feelings” during his PDA-filled date after watching the Guardians fail to secure a victory against the Yankees. “We just weren’t able to come back from the Yankees’ power,” he told brother Jason Kelce.

“The whole time I’m just there screaming. I’m in hostile territory… I’m at the Yankees Stadium,” Travis recalled. “I’m over here cheering for the Guards because I’m a Cleveland kid and I want to see Cleveland win a f-cking World Series.”
“It was mixed feelings because I was there trying to have some fun with Tay and everybody. All our friends … came. We had an unbelievable crew with us and hanging with us. It was fun,” he added.
Despite watching the Yankees take the game 2-5 over the Guardians, Travis still had a blast with Swift.
“Even though the Guards couldn’t pull it off, it was still an exciting game,” he said. “It was cool to see Yankee Stadium because I always wanted to see that thing in person, in a playoff game, in a hostile environment, and it didn’t disappoint, man.”
He added, “The Yankees, the fans, the players, everybody involved, man, it was awesome.”
Photos from Travis’ cozy date with Swift showed the couple sitting in a VIP box happily chatting away during the game, sitting with actor Jerrod Carmichael and other friends.
The Chiefs tight-end also stepped out with Swift in Manhattan over the weekend. On Friday, they dined at the Corner Store in Soho with her friends Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. The following night, they headed for another date at Italian restaurant Torrisi.
The duo will be parting ways to go back to work shortly as Swift continues her Eras Tour with a stop in Miami on October 18 and Travis gears up for a game against the San Francisco 49ers on October 20.
