Travis Kelce set to star in Lionsgate comedy movie ‘Loose Cannons’
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is continuing to submerge himself in different endeavors, this time dipping his foot into the movie world.
Kelce is set to star in the Lionsgate action-comedy “Loose Cannons,” produced by “John Wick” director Chad Stahelski and his 87eleven Entertainment partner Jason Spitz along with Alex Young.

The high-profile tight end has been very active in the television industry as he’s set to star in Ryan Murphy’s FX series “Grotesquerie,” which is scheduled to air on Sep. 25.
He is also hosting a reboot of the iconic game show “Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?” called “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?”
The plot of “Loose Cannons” is fixated on how every police precinct has an unscrupulous officer on their staff. That officer is then paired with someone as just as crooked as them after their precincts merge due to budget cuts, and the two ‘loose cannons’ take on cases together.

The scheduled release date for the movie “Loose Cannons” is currently unknown. This is a busy time for Kelce, who begins his season on Sep. 5 as the Chiefs look to three-peat.
