Travis Scott Drops ‘Drugs You Should Try It’ Video After 10th Anniversary Re-Release
Less than a week after revisiting his mixtape Days Before Rodeo on its 10th anniversary, Travis Scott is offering a visual pairing for the project’s single, “Drugs You Should Try It.”
The clip opens with a seeming tribute to Virgil Abloh as a body-building model poses in front of a neon sign of a smoking cowboy he used on his Rodeo Tour in 2015. (“He’s forever with us, you dig?” he said during a special anniversary concert over the weekend, per Billboard.)

The video then displays a warning sign that reads: “Please play this song at maximum volume for optimal effect,” along with Days Before Rodeo‘s track list. The video shows cinematic, slo-mo clips of Scott jumping shirtless under the night sky. Other shots see him smoking a joint, before rapping the lyrics under a red light and drowning in cold water.
Scott re-released his second mixtape Days Before Rodeo on Aug. 23, bringing the body of work from 2014 — which featured songs such as “Don’t Play” with the 1975, “Mamacita” with Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug, and “Sloppy Toppy” featuring Migos and Peewee Longway — to streaming services.
“Days Before Rodeo 10yr anniversary being celebrated by finally re-releasing,” he wrote on Instagram last week. “Everywhere august 23rd and maybe couple DBR songs from that era from the vault… Im fcking jumping thru walls ahhhh.”
He also released the promised deluxe edition of the record with new songs on his website. The deluxe LP includes songs “Mo City Flexologist,” “Serenade,” “While Lots Changedm,” and “Yeah Yeah” with Young Thug. The mixtape preceded Scott’s career-defining Rodeo LP from 2015.
