Travis Scott’s New Jordan Collaboration Is One of His Most Colorful Sneakers Yet
More from Footwear News
As 2024 comes to a close, Travis Scott and Nike, Inc.’s Jordan Brand still have several anticipated sneaker collaborations on deck to be released before the end of the year, but the 2025 launches are beginning to stack up too. Adding to the cache of the rapper’s unreleased collabs is a new Jordan Jumpman Jack sneaker in its brightest colors yet.
Product images of the upcoming Travis Scott x Jordan Jumpman Jack TR “Bright Cactus” have surfaced courtesy of GOAT. With a full colorway of “Muslin/Black/Bright Cactus,” the sneaker reworks Travis Scott’s debut signature Jordan shoe with a bright green canvas material. The rest of the shoe is kept toned down, mixing a cream-hued muslin with black.
It’s worth noting there has been some confusion around the model’s name. The shoe was originally rumored to be known as the Jordan Cut the Check, which was eventually disproven after the sneaker was officially launched under the name Jumpman Jack TR.
However, launches on Travis Scott’s website called the shoe the CJ-1 T-Rexx, perhaps suggesting the parties had creative differences around the naming. Nike’s international SNKRS sites refer to the upcoming “Dark Mocha” colorway as the CJ1 T-Rexx with no mention of Jumpman Jack, but early pairs on eBay show a box label reading “Jumpman Jack TR,” so it appears the official model name is still up in the air.
In addition to the aforementioned “Dark Mocha” Jumpman Jack TR, other Travis Scott collaborations due before the end of the year include the “Velvet Brown” Air Jordan 1 Low on Dec. 21. And on the Nike side, the artist’s “Light Chocolate” Nike Zoom Field Jaxx is set to land this holiday season, but an exact date has not been confirmed.
The Travis Scott x Jordan Jumpman Jack TR “Bright Cactus” has a SKU of FZ8117-102 and is currently expected to be released on April 30 for a retail price of $200.
