Travis Scott Takes It Back to his Roots for ‘Mo City Flexologist’ Video: Watch
Travis Scott is Missouri City until he dies. La Flame released a love letter to his hometown with the “Mo City Flexologist” video on Tuesday (Sept. 24).
“In Mo City we just go up. That’s how we do,” the screen reads to open the clip. The Honorable C.N.O.T.E.-produced track was recorded in 2014, but released officially as a digital download on Scott’s website as part of a deluxe edition of Days Before Rodeo, which hit streaming services in August in celebration of the mixtape’s 10th anniversary.

Scott takes it back to his roots as the visual includes footage from La Flame’s school days, the high school football field and local Missouri City staples like Cartwright Food Mart and Carey’s Frozen Delights.
There’s even a fake news broadcast about how the chaos from Trav’s Italy concert shook the tectonic plates to cause an earthquake.
“Shot the video in the MO 1 time for all the real ones out the Mo,” Scott wrote about the visual to X. He later teased that the track could eventually land on DSPs: “Mo city flex DSP’s …?”
After losing out to Sabrina Carpenter’s Short ‘n Sweet for the top spot on the Billboard 200 in its debut, La Flame’s Days Before Rodeo reclaimed No. 1 status after shooting up from No. 106 on this week’s Billboard 200.
The meteoric rise came thanks to the orders of vinyl records being shipped out to customers. The set earned 156,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the tracking week ending Sept. 19, according to Luminate. 149,000 of that figure are from vinyls.
“THE REAL ONES TOOK DBR TO THE TOP I MUST HOLD IT DOWN FOR YALL FOREVER SAY LESS,” he wrote.
