Triumph the Insult Comic Dog Mocks Chris Christie’s Diner Visit
Triumph the Insult Comic Dog poked fun at Gov. Chris Christie’s visit to a New Hampshire diner, and luckily for us he shared it on Conan. The puppet comedian visited the diner prior to the presidential hopeful’s trip to help “prepare” the space and staff for Christie’s arrival.
When Triumph noticed the refrigerated dessert display, he warned, “I think it needs to at least be an inch thick or we’re in trouble, trust me. I’ve seen the governor head butt through a Learjet window because he thought the clouds were cotton candy.”

Triumph also took a moment to alert the service staff how to avoid any accidents while serving Christie, saying, “Feed him with a flat open palm, otherwise he’s liable to get a finger.”
While some of the jokes were of the lower-hanging-fruit variety, it was fun to see the old insult comedian back on a night show.
Conan airs weeknights at 11pm on TBS.
