Troubled Heather Locklear arrested again, this time for allegedly assaulting police officer (updated)
Heather Locklear‘s troubles continue to grow and grow— the Melrose Place actress has been arrested again for battery against a police officer. People reports Locklear will seek treatment and return to the hospital to get the help she needs.
It started on Sunday night when officers responded to a 911 call about a residential disturbance, and when they arrived, things went haywire. The 56-year-old actress was charged with two counts of misdemeanor battery on an officer and emergency personnel, Ventura County Sheriff’s Office records show.
“Heather Locklear was arrested at her home for two counts of battery on emergency personnel,” a spokesperson for the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office tells Yahoo Entertainment. “She kicked one of our deputies, and she also kicked an EMT who tried to evaluate her medical status. She is in the process of posting bail at this time.”
Bail was set at $20,000. Locklear is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday afternoon.
According to TMZ, officers said Locklear was intoxicated when they responded to a call placed by her family. While separating Heather from unnamed members of her family, the alleged assaults occurred.
Once a primetime queen, Locklear has had a string of trouble. Most recently, she was hospitalized to undergo a psychiatric evaluation after allegedly attacking her father and choking her mother.
And this is the second time Locklear has been arrested for alleged assault of an officer this year. In February, police responded to her home on a domestic violence call, and she allegedly assaulted an officer.
