Your TV To-Do List: Spend some more time in 'The Good Place'

Jerry Before Seinfeld: Tuesday, Sept. 19 on Netflix
The renowned comedian begins his next act as a Netflix star with a walk down memory lane, revisiting the New York comedy club where he got his start, along with some of the earliest jokes he told.
The Good Place: Wednesday, Sept. 20 at 10 p.m. on NBC
Last season’s forking best network comedy returns for a well-deserved second year. We’re looking forward to more laughs, more twists, and, above all, more Janet.
Gotham: Thursday, Sept. 21 at 8 p.m. on Fox
It’s taken four years, but Batman is finally… beginning. Gotham‘s new season kicks off with an arc called “A Dark Knight,” suggesting that young Bruce Wayne is old enough to start taking an active interest in this whole “crimefighting” thing.
Transparent: Friday, Sept. 22 on Amazon
It’s a Mazel for Maura Pfefferman, as she and the rest of her kooky family head to Israel in Transparent‘s fourth season premiere.
Star Trek: Discovery: Sunday, Sept. 24 at 8 p.m. on CBS and CBS All Access
It’s taken more than 10 years, but the Star Trek franchise is finally launching a new episodic series, this time into the final frontier of streaming television.
