TVLine Items: Big Brother Special Episode, Adam Sandler’s Netflix Stand-Up Show and More

A few Big Brother favorites are making a house call.

Previous winners Jag Bains (Season 25), Taylor Hale (Season 24) and Cody Calafiore (Season 22) will drop by the BBAI Arena to “analyze the wildest blow ups, biggest moves and most jaw-dropping moments so far this season,” per the official description.

The special episode, airing Tuesday, Aug. 13 at 8 p.m. on CBS, will also reveal BBAI’s next game-changing surprise for Season 26 contestants.

* Netflix has set a Tuesday, Sept. 27 premiere date for Adam Sandler: Love You, the actor/comedian’s first comedy special since 2018. Watch a trailer:

* Augustus Prew (The Morning Show, Prison Break) will recur in Season 2 of the Paramount+ drama 1923 as Paul, a “dapper, bookish, well-to-do young British man on a passenger ship,” according to Deadline.

He joins previously announced Season 2 newcomers Janet Montgomery and Jennifer Carpenter. Montgomery will play Hillary, a “thoughtful woman who does not want to see injustice go unpunished,” while Carpenter is set to portray Mamie Fossett, “a highly capable U.S. Deputy Marshall who serves warrants and makes arrests with confidence ahead of her time.”
