Michael Fassbender is feeling the toll of the spy game in the first trailer for The Agency, premiering Friday, Nov. 29 with two episodes on Paramount+ With SHOWTIME before making its linear debut on the premium cabler.

An adaptation of the hit French drama Le Bureau des Légendes, the political thriller “follows Martian (Fassbender), a covert CIA agent, ordered to abandon his undercover life and return to London Station,” reads the official description. “When the love he left behind reappears, romance reignites. His career, his real identity and his mission are pitted against his heart; hurling them both into a deadly game of international intrigue and espionage.”
