New tvN K-Drama Queen of Tears Cast: Kim Soo-Hyun, Kim Ji-Won to Star
Queen of Tears is an upcoming rom-com K-Drama, that is all set to debut on tvN in March 2024, as reported by Ten Asia. The highly intriguing and anticipated series will star popular South Korean actors Kim Soo-Hyun and Kim Ji-Won as the central pair of Baek Hyun-Woo and Hong Hae-In.
The highly acclaimed television screenwriter Park Ji-Eun serves as the writer of Queen of Tears, while renowned South Korean directors Jang Young-Woo and Kim Hee-Won have acted as the directors of the upcoming romantic comedy series. Park Ji-Eun is famous for penning hit K-Dramas like My Love from the Star and Crash Landing on You. Jang Young-Woo earned renown for directing Bulgasal, while Kim Hee-Won is notable for helming Vincenzo.

As reported by Ten Asia, actress Kim Ji-Won will play the female lead role of Hong Hae-In in the upcoming highly awaited tvN K-Drama Queen of Tears. Kim Ji-Won’s character Hong Hae-In is a third-generation conglomerate of Queen’s Group and also the absolute queen of department stores. Actor Kim Soo-Hyun will portray the lead male character Baek Hyun-Woo in the new series.
Kim Soo-Hyun’s character Baek Hyun-Woo is the legal director of Queens Group. He is also known as the king of supermarkets in the tvN K-Drama. Queen of Tears will chronicle the fascinating love story between the two, as per Ten Asia. Thus, viewers are in for a thrilling upcoming K-Drama series.
Kim Soo-Hyun is best known for his significant roles in My Love from the Star and It’s Okay to Not Be Okay. He is also well-known for One Ordinary Day, The Thieves and more. Kim Ji-Won earned fame with her portrayal of prime roles in The Heirs, Fight for My Way, Lovestruck in the City, Descendants of the Sun and My Liberation Notes, among others.
