Twitter fans were high on 'Black-ish' spinoff, 'Grown-ish'
Black-ish’s new spinoff, Grown-ish, which follows Zoey Johnson (Yara Shahidi) to college, premiered back-to-back episodes Wednesday night — and it was hip, relevant, and full of drug use.
The premiere episode, which aired on Freeform, told the backstories of Zoey’s new classmates and soon-to-be best friends, whom she compared to her own “Breakfast Club.” However, things got real in the second episode — titled, “Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe” — when Zoey was exposed to all sorts of drugs at her first college parties. In fact, even Zoey gave in and popped Adderall to help her with her schoolwork, and one Twitter user couldn’t help but make the connection to the classic Saved By the Bell episode.

But most fans seemed to love the realness. One person tweeted,
