Tyra Banks wore one of fall’s hottest prints at the Burberry flagship reopening in New York on Wednesday. The supermodel sported the British label’s trademark tartan in the form of a khaki trenchcoat, pairing it with a bronze crystalized clutch and ivory leather mules.

Banks wore her brunette tresses in voluminous curls, while her makeup consisted of sparkly eye shadow and winged liner.
The “America’s Next Top Model” host was hardly the only star in attendance, as Cher, Cara Delevingne and Nicky Hilton Rothschild were among the evening’s other notable guests.
On Tuesday, Banks returned to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show catwalk, opening the finale segment of the brand’s revived 2024 fashion show. As an Angel, Banks was one of the lingerie label’s spokesmodels from 1997 to 2005. She wore the Fantasy Bra in 1997 and 2004, and was also the first Black model to cover the Victoria’s Secret catalogue.
Ahead of her return to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, Banks celebrated the news on Instagram.
“It feels crazy being back on the Victoria’s Secret runway. I mean, like, ‘cray cray,’ as in ‘cray cray good,’” Banks said in a video. “I never thought that I would be back on this runway, to be honest.”
The 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show saw the return of several retired Angels, including Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel, Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima.
Plaids, checks and tartans are trending for fall. WWD’s Alex Badia noted that several high-profile labels, including Chloé, Dior and Burberry, incorporated these heritage prints in their most recent collections.
