The latest Uncle Samsik episode began with Kim San meeting with Uncle Samsik after agreeing to collaborate. Kim San questioned Uncle Samsik about Cha Tae-Min from the Sineui Alliance and suspected him of killing Innovation Party leader Joo In-Tae. Uncle Samsik revealed that both he and Yoon Palbong killed Ahn Min-Chul. In the past, Ahn Min-Chul asked Kang Seong-Min to lend him Cha Tae-Min and the Sineui Alliance. Fearing that Min-Chul might reveal the alliance, Seong-Min asked his fellow Sineui Alliance founder, Tae-Min, to kill Min-Chul. However, Tae-Min refused to do so and decided to leave for Osaka. He expressed that Uncle Samsik had promised the alliance members jobs there.

After Tae-Min disobeyed Seong-Min, the latter struck a deal with Yoon Pal-Bong, promising him a seat if he managed to catch Tae-Min. Pal-Bong caught Tae-Min and the alliance members. While the rest agreed to kill Min-Chul, Tae-Min didn’t. However, Uncle Samsik saved Tae-Min. The alliance then prepared explosives and bombed Min-Chul’s speech, resulting in Min-Chul’s death.

During their conversation, Uncle Samsik revealed the next set of plans to Kim San. He intended to slowly take away Seong-Min’s power if Kim San were to become the next Prime Minister. Uncle Samsik further assured Kim San about Tae-Min’s safety. However, that quickly changed when Park Ji-Wook sent his men to look for Tae-Min and kill him. The latter killed the men and accused Uncle Samsik of plotting the attack.

After Tae-Min fled the scene, Ji-Wook caught hold of the Sineui Alliance agreement, signed by both Tae-Min and Seong-Min when they founded it. Ji-Wook then burnt all the documents to safeguard Seong-Min, leaving no traces of the latter’s involvement in the alliance. The news soon reached Uncle Samsik, who realized that Ji-Wook put a tail on him.

Meanwhile, protests increased after Innovation Party supporters heard about Joo In-Tae’s death. They demanded an investigation into In-Tae’s death, suspecting a murder. However, when the police threatened to shoot them, In-Tae’s daughter and Kim San’s ex-fiance, Yeo-Jin, stopped the protests. She wanted the people to follow peaceful measures, just like how her late father wanted.

On the other hand, Kim San and Uncle Samsik planned to go up against Seong-Min when he passed the Local Government Act. After the act was passed, Kim San decided to replace Seong-Min as the champion of democracy. The following day, Uncle Samsik devised a plan to get the act passed while dealing with opposition from assemblymen. Seong-Min also worried about the same and wanted Ahn Yo-Seop to give him campaign funds.

That night, Kim San met with his military friends, including Jung Han-Min, asking them to change the existing corrupt systems of the world. Meanwhile, Seong-Min met with Ahn Yo-Seop, requesting the latter for campaign funds. Seong-Min revealed that he founded the Sineui Alliance but wasn’t involved in Ahn Min-Chul’s death. Ahn Yo-Seop asked Seong-Min to collaborate with him and make a new party where the latter could be Prime Minister.

Seong-Min agreed to the deal as per Kim San’s bait. By the end of the episode, the younger military officers issued a declaration to eradicate corruption within the military and punish soldiers engaged in fraud. On the other hand, Seong-Min discovered that the military was looking to appoint General Choi Han-Rim as the new First Operations Commander.

The scene shifted to Kim San at the Defense Unit speaking about his interactions with Choi Han-Rim. When officers accused him of plotting a coup d’état during their interaction, Kim San expressed that he saw Choi Han-Rim as his father. The episode ended with Uncle Samsik mocking Kim San for having many people he admired. However, he revealed that all those people were now dead.
