Five-piece group Urban Cone is the latest in a seemingly unending torrent of hooky, sensitive Swedes invading American pop. It already has a burgeoning cult hit with its delightfully disco-inflected “Sadness Disease,” which is a way, way more upbeat song than its title suggests. The next stage of its attack is built around “Come Back to Me,” a more pastoral, folk-inflected cut featuring fellow Swede Tove Lo.
Both songs will be on their sophomore album Polaroid Memories, which will be released by Astralwerks on May 12, and can be pre-ordered here. In the meantime, here’s an exclusive lyric video for “Come Back to Me.”
