‘This Is Us’ stars fed up with Jimmy Fallon ruining scene on ‘The Tonight Show’
On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, This Is Us stars Sterling K. Brown and Chrissy Metz were trying to get through another heart-wrenching scene but Jimmy Fallon the sound guy just could not keep it together. “I’m the reason that dad died,” Metz said, “and we all know it.” Between sobs, Jimmy Fallon said, “No, don’t you do that to yourself!”
And the sound guy was so unprofessional that Chrissy started to just walk off set to which he said, “Someone’s a diva! This one is going to be in the papers. You’re the reason dad died!”
It even got to the point where the director couldn’t take it anymore. “I’ve lost control over the whole set,” he said, “So, no, we’re not good. I’m not good. I’m not good enough.” As the director lost it, Jimmy had to comfort him and then after this moving moment between a director and a sound guy, Brown and Metz had the feels too and they joined in on a big group hug.
With such an emotional set it’s a wonder that This Is Us even exists because apparently, this happens a lot with Milo Ventimiglia saying from the sidelines, “Not this again, every f*cking time.”
