Usher And Rémy Martin Invite Guests To Life Is A Melody Backstage Experience
Ahead of Usher’s last show at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif. on his Past, Present, Future Tour, a special group of R&B fans got to enjoy a special glimpse at his road to stardom. Hosted by the chart-topping singer and Rémy Martin cognac, extending their longstanding partnership, guests were invited to sip specialty cocktails and enjoy various activations representing the multiple eras of Usher’s career at the Life is a Melody Backstage Experience and Past, Present Future Tour! From nods to Atlanta to steamy shots of the Confessions crooner, the experience fully prepared attendees for the show ahead.
If the atmosphere was not set at the West Coast kickback by the aesthetic, the custom cocktails exclusively curated for the evening allowed the intimate group to taste various expressions of Rémy Martin cognac. Bartenders poured the Rémy La Pêche Noire, which spotlights Rémy Martin’s 1738 Accord Royal, The Coming Home which captures the full aromatic complexity of Rémy Martin XO, and The Rhythm and Ginger, highlighting Rémy Martin VSOP.
Being ushered to the Usher show, a group clinking Rémy Martin branded tumblers filled with to-go versions of the mixed drinks to enjoy as seating was settled and the show began. As set by the tone backstage, the show was an unforgettable treat. The likes of Lil Jon, Juicy J, Stevie Wonder, and Kevin Hart all joined Usher on stage, using their talents to add to the program. Additionally, a moment of homage paid from Usher to Bobby Brown was a welcomed segment in the show complete with intricate choreography, top-notch vocals, and Ush Bucks raining everywhere.
VIP guests in Inglewood, including Broderick Hunter, Kenyon Dixon, Kayla Nicole, and more were not the only guests to enjoy this experience. At Usher’s Barclays Center stop in Brooklyn, NY earlier this month, an RSVP list including Dexter Darden and Duckie Confetti enjoyed drinks and appetizers before the captivating performance.
